HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY!
Riley is 7 today! I can't believe we have a 7yr. old and that 7 years ago I was having my first baby! My how time flies but at the same time feels like just yesterday.
We are so lucky to have Riley as part of our family. She is growing into a beautiful young lady. She is an incredible big sister and Rayden can't get enough of her. She loves to dance and play with her friends and is quite the expert on the computer. She is learning to read and has picked it up rather quickly.
We love you Riley and are so glad you were born :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had so much fun and I loved seeing my kids get so excited for everything. Ryker had been asking for a trumpet and thank goodness Santa got him one...I don't think he has stopped playing it. Rayden didn't want to open anything after she saw her stroller, and Riley said she loved everything even though she didn't get her DS, little did she know it was wrapped up under the tree! Christmas Eve was kind of hard because Jason was on call and ended up missing the Christmas eve dinner and the traditional acting out the nativity. We always open a gift on Christmas Eve so the kids were very tired and had a hard time waiting for their dad, he didn't end up getting home till 1030. They did sleep in till 730 though, so it all worked out. We miss all the family we didn't get to be with but we hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. Hope you have a Happy New Year celebration!

Christmas Dance Recital
We were lucky enough to attend Riley's Christmas Dance recital. She started at a new studio, so it is always interesting to see how the show turns out. Thankfully they split the performance in half so we didn't have to be there all night.
She loves to dance and did a fabulous job!

Thanskgiving in Vegas
For those of you that may have been wondering...no I did not fall off the planet, I just can not seem to accomplish anything these days. I am finally blogging about our Thanksgiving adventures, and am quite proud that I am doing this before Christmas :)
We went to Vegas this year to see my family and had a fabulous time. It started off with the usual Thanksgiving feast in my Grandma's basement with about 60 people. And then later that night had a "smaller" gathering at my Mom's with just my family. It was all delicious, loud, and crazy, but so much fun. The weather was nice after Thanksgiving rain so my kids got to play outside most of the time we were there, they were in heaven. We got to go to the movies, help decorate for Christmas, eat at my favorite restaurants, take one kid to instacare, and actually hang out and relax a little. We loved it!
My kids & some of their cousins

I had a picture here of the kids playing the Wii with their Uncle Richard, but some how I deleted it. It was really quite amazing that he came down to play. He will do almost anything for Riley, including play webkinz all day and earn her money. She loves it.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and can't wait to enjoy the Christmas season!
