Radlyn Update

In the last 2 weeks we have gone from this....
Hanging out naked in the isolette

To this
Fully clothed and in a crib
It has been an incredibly long 2 weeks with many ups and downs and atleast 2 trips a day back and forth to the University Hospital

She is off her billi blanket

She has no more IV's

The kids had to visit her the first week and only see her thru the isolette

She still has her NG tube, that is what she gets most of her food from
We spent way to long having to see her thru the glass
This is the first time she got to wear clothes, they were trying to wean her out of the isolette

She is finally in a crib!!!
Just in time for the kids to visit :)
Riley getting to hold her again
This time it was for a little while
Ryker got a turn
Rayden did too..she even sang her songs!
It was sooo cute!

Radlyn snuggled up in bed in her ridiculous red hat, but they wanted to keep her warm. She was always a little on the  low side for temperature so they did everything they could to keep her warm and out of the isolette.

Isn't my hat fabulous?

Stretch....
This is what Radlyn does most nights.  Jason and I go back up there every night around 845 so I can try and breastfeed her.  She is mostly awake at her 900pm feeding so we go hang out and she just stares at us forever.  It is kinda nice to just have some time to spend with her.
I usually go up everyday and am there for her 12'oclock and 3'oclock feedings, hoping to get lucky that she will breastfeed for on of them.  She has been doing alot better on her 12 so everyday we make a little progress.  It is just a slow process!
She loves to hang out with her Daddy!
And then once she falls asleep, we tuck her all snug in her bed, kiss her goodnight, and say goodbye
probably one of the hardest thing we have to do is leave her there every night

She finally got to have a bath last night.  They wont let you do it until they maintain their temperature for a few days, so we finally got to have a fresh clean smelling baby...I loved it!
She didn't even cry, she loved it too!

Look at me all clean :)

This is Radlyn after a very successful breastfeeding session.
She finally ate a full feeding from me and I was beyond excited.
It took awhile but she did it!!!!
We are one step closer to coming home...who knows when that will be
but I am hoping to be doing all of this at home one of these days!

First, I want to kiss her fuzzy little head, second you can tell how tiny she is in the picture with her binky in (it looks huge!), and third she's a beautiful little girl and you are a beautiful mommy!!

She is so pretty. I just want to squeeze her. Reading your post made me cry. I can only imagine how hard those nights are when you have to leave. I am so happy to hear she is progressing. I will be so excited for you guys when you finally get to come home, be a family, and ENJOY each minute together.

Oh, she is sweet! I totally got a yucky feeling in my belly reading that you leave her every night. I don't know how you are doing it. Please let me know what I can do.
