Happy Birthday Ryker!

Happy 4th Birthday to my little stud muffin!
1 week old
About 6 months
About 9 months

1 year...
2 years...

3 years...
And finally 4!!!!

I can't believe he is already 4. He is so full of life and has endless amounts of energy, making it impossible to keep up. Although he tests my patience every day, I love hime to death. He gives the best hugs and always wants to cuddle when he is tired. He may act like he is growing up, but somewhere deep down he is still my little boy!
Happy Birthday Ryker!
We love you!

I AM ME!!

i am: So tired!!!

i think: that life is rough, but there are so many times when it is all worth it!

i know: that things will work out for the best just maybe not the best way we imagined

i have: alot to be thankful for

i wish: I lived closer to my family

i dislike: being late, stupid drivers, and dirty feet

i miss: going to bed on time

i fear: losing Jason and raising 3 kids all alone

i feel: overwhelmed with everything I need to get done

i hear: "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" all day long

i smell: Chocolate cookies..I just baked some

i crave: chocolate chip cookies and diet coke (not necessarily together)

i usually: plan out my day but it never goes the way I plan it

i search: for my shoes (Rayden likes to move them around the house)

i wonder: what my life would be like if I had done a few things different

i regret: Not doing my kids scrapbooks and writing down all of their milestones

i love: being done with school and having no homework so I can finally spend more time with my family

i care: about my kids feelings and how they are treated

i always: wash my face before bed

i worry: how my kids will turn out

i am not: a very patient mom

i remember: having fun, being single, partying lots, and getting to sleep in!

i believe: that people are good no matter what their religion or their belief

i dance: whenever there is music and at the end of DVD's with my kids

i don’t always: pay attention or listen very closely

i write: to do lists

i win: whenever I leg wrestle

i lose: whenever I make a bet with Jason..you think I would learn

i never: thought I would be done with school

i listen: to lots of whining!

i don't understand: why I can't stay on top of my bills...I hate paying them

i can usually be found: on the phone or the computer

i am scared: of something bad happening to Jason while he is at work (like falling down an elevator shaft) or someone taking my kids

i need: to get my act together and organize my house

i forget: to pay the credit card bill and now I have a late fee.

i am happy about: Going to bed :)

Vegas Vacation!

For my graduation / 30th birthday present, Jason took my to Vegas with no kids! We flew down Friday morning and didn't get back till Sunday night. It was fabulous. We got to lay out at the pool, go to dinner and a show with our friends from Vegas, (the show was incredible), we went shopping, layed out some more, went to see Batman on IMAX,had dinner with my sister and parents for our birthday, and then ended our trip with a party at my parents house with the whole family. It was soooo much fun and I loved being able to relax, sleep in and spend time with Jas! Thanks to my in-laws who took such good care of my kids while we were gone and my sister for staying Sunday night with them. You guys are awesome! Thanks!

Happy Birthday to Angel

This is my twin sister Angela, only she was born 6 years after me. When I was 5, my mom was pregnant with her 5th kid, I already had 3 brothers, so every night I would pray that I would get a little sister. When I woke up on my 6th birthday...surprise, surprise...I got the best birthday present ever, my mom gave birth to a little girl! So we share a birthday. Pretty sweet, I know. It was always so much fun to have someone to share your birthday with. It never bothered me either. We were obviously kind of far apart age wise, but I still loved having her around. As we got older we become such good friends and the six year difference never seemed to matter, especially when we were both married and having kids :) We haven't always gotten to spend our birthday together, but every now and then it works out. 2 years ago my mom flew me to Vegas so we could celebrate together, and this past weekend Jason and I took a little weekend vacation to Vegas so we got to celebrate then.
I'm so lucky to have such an amazing sister. You are a hard worker, so determined, and accomplish anything you set your mind too! I hope you have a fabulous birthday! Love ya lots "little sis"!

Happy Birthday to....Me!!!!

The dreaded day finally arrived

I turned the big 30!!!!!

I really have not been to excited for my birthday this year, who wants to turn 30?

Not me. But I did and I survived and of course like every other birthday as an adult, you don't feel any different, not any older, not any smarter, and not any better looking!

It was so much more fun as a kid when your birthday came and you felt soooo special!

The whole world revolved around you that day, but those days are gone and when you are a mom, you still get to get up and take care of the kids and do all those everyday duties, even if it is your birthday. Thank goodness I got to go to Vegas last weekend with no kids! (I'll will get to posting that someday). It was the best early birthday present ever!!!!
We did have a fun day though. The kids and I went to Lagoon and happen to run into some friends of ours so it turned out even better than I planned. We finished the day by opening a few presents, going to eat at Olive Garden (everyone should go to eat with 3 kids :o), a game of bowling, tennis, and golf on the Wii, and some dessert. It was a fabulous day!
